KardiaMobile® (Single-Lead) has a single-lead ECG function, also known as a rhythm strip, and uses only two sensors (electrodes) to record the heart’s electrical activity and displays as a lead 1 rhythm strip. To record your ECG, simply place two fingers from your left hand on the left sensor pads and two fingers from your right hand on the right sensor. Do not touch thumbs or hands together. This type of ECG is typically used to monitor your heart rate and rhythm over a short period of time.
